As an attorney, Janis possesses a wide range of experience in litigation, complex civil, criminal, and administrative law matters in business environment. Janis is committed to providing BDO clients with the highest level of legal representation and service, and to achieving the best possible outcome in every case. 

Janis has significant experience in organizing real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M & A), as well as civil and administrative litigation. Prior to joining the BDO Law team, Janis has experience as Judical Assistant, after which for 11 years he practiced at one of the first law firms in Latvia - "Bisers un Partneri", followed by several years of experience at the law firm "Spilbridge". 

In his legal practice, Janis has advised and represented clients on various legal issues, successfully representing clients in numerous civil and administrative cases. 

Janis' experience in the aforementioned areas has allowed him to successfully represent clients of complex criminal cases. His work has involved cases within the police and the prosecutor's office, investigations conducted by the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau, as well as the Organized Crime Control Department.
