Career Days at the BA School of Business and Finance 2025

On November 26, we participated in the BA School of Business and Finance Career Day 2025 – Autumn, where we met many inspiring and goal-driven students! 

At our booth, young people took part in a survey about what matters most to them in a job.

Head of the HR Department, Maija Kavace: ‘I was pleasantly surprised by the enthusiasm with which young people asked questions at the booth. Many asked what qualities we value in students and new employees, and that’s when the BDO values came to my aid – Honesty, Responsibility, and Courage.’

The highest number of votes went to compensation and salary, followed by opportunities for growth and professional development.
A highly valued factor was also the working environment, colleagues and team, as well as flexibility – the ability to balance work with personal life.
Slightly less important, though still meaningful to young people, were stability and job security.”
